Lovely and in many ways a unique piece of folk art. I saw no other like this figurine. Very unique and beautiful vintage 1970s Hand Carved Sculpture. West Africa Fertility Amulets. Black and Red Painted ethnic wooden statue of sitting mother with baby on lap. It has a minimalist design with a graciously curved line as well as etched lines creating vivid details. This piece is so beautiful... i am sure will be a true delight and focal point of interest at any home decor project or as a new mom gift. Condition: it has a tiny drop of white painting on back that i guess can be easily clean out as well as a blue clay or gum also easy to clean, other wise in a very good vintage condition!
