This is a very pretty, elegant and masculine pill box made in the 1910s and commercialized at early 1920s in USA. This sterling silver hinged case was used by one of my great-grand-uncle as snuff box for tobacco while working for the United Fruit Company in Central America. The pill box has engraved stripes and in a small geometric accent has the initials of my uncle MH. The box opens and close with a pushing clasp working very well. The condition is very good with normal wear and tarnish. Beautiful piece for a collector!
