Set of Two 2. Very nice and excellent crafted Cinnabar Bangle Bracelet with a "Zodiac Celestial Dragon" from late 1970s to early 1980s. State finds. This is a particularly pretty bracelet. I've seen many with flower designs but this is much more intricate. There are two dragons which face each other on the front of the bracelet. and they are surrounded by what appears to be peonies. This vintage cinnabar bangle is deeply carved and it has great attention to detail. These ornate bracelets are reminiscent of ornate Chinese lacquer-ware, it was especially popular 1000 years ago during the Song Dynasty. This ancient art form is an intensive process requiring much artistic skill and craftsmanship. The color is vibrant and there are no chips or cracks to the lacquer. This is a masterpiece piece of jewelry, a classic that you will wear often. In an EXCELLENT vintage condition!
