Rare collectible 1980s piece of jewelry made with sterling silver and gold enamel ornate with blue geometric enameled pattern. This Earrings are signed ARS from the designer Alf R Sorensen, a Danish modernist and vanguardist jeweler with very few pieces available for collectors today. The round earrings have an applied gold coating with pairs of small blue and black triangles on them imitating some of the coolest patterns used by Italian postmodern designers at end of 1970s and early 1980s. The black triangles are like shadows of the blue ones. Sorensen designed jewelry in Denmark from 1947 until 1986. The earrings are in very good condition except for a tiny bit of the gold coating damaged or tarnished at the very edge of one earring. It's visible in the pictures if you pay careful attention; it actually looks like part of one of the triangles so isn't very noticeable, but I wanted to mention it. Overall a great pair of sterling silver designer earrings.
