A very distinctive modernist spoon signed by H Decker, the spoon is silver plated and would be perfect for either decoration or to serve jam, sugar or sauce. The spoon was produced in Stockholm, Sweden and the illustration was designed by C G Hallberg and bears the pre 1961 Hallberg mark. The unusually wide stem is heavily embossed with a brutalist nordic style and folk Swedish scenes, a wonderful find which I think would be just perfect for your favourite jar of tea, coffee, or condiment. The back of the spoon is stamped HALLBERG and EXTRA N.SALP.

Measures 5.5"or 14 cm in length x 2"or 5 cm wide scoop and 1.25" or 3 cm across the handle. Solid not hollow. Will not easily dent or bend.
