Vintage 1970s wooden hair comb made in West Timor, Indonesia. This primitive comb was handmade in Amanuban District by the Highland Atoni People. In the "old days" both men and women had long hair gathered at the nape of the neck and secured with a "soit" comb. The comb is decorated with a carved womens face. It can be used to detangle or style a natural hair care or can also be used to decorate your house.
