Beautiful vintage Toledo (Spain) Damascene mens Cuff-Links on original card, made at late Art Deco period 1940s. These sqaure cufflinks feature floral design in 24Kt gold inlay and black enamel background.

The technique was originate in Damascus Syria and became truly popular in Western Europe at en of 1930s mainly through the Spanish and Japanese damascene works like this one. On Spain it was usual that the gold was got using "Oro Fino" or pure fine gold over the brass. The Spanish damascene has usually two themes; floral naturalist and abstract geometric.
