Super cute and unusual "Har" (Hargo) strawberry brooch. Made in the 50s-60s, this heavy large brooch features concentric swirls of antiqued gold rope centered with a faux coral cabochon, topped with textured gold tone leaves and stem. This high end designer piece is signed at the back: HAR. This jewelry is a rare and highly sought after line that was produced in short supply by a company called HARGO. Hargo was a New York company that produced jewelry for about 10 years in the mid century. 

Some scuff on the metal, other wise- in a very good vintage condition! Simply a gorgeous collectible piece for strawberry lovers.
