Beautiful vintage Japanese Damascene screw back earrings done at late the Art Deco period around the 1950s. The technique was originate in Damascus Syria and became truly popular in Spain and Japan at end of the 1930s. These large earrings has an octagonal shape and feature etched japanese pagodas and mt. Fuji in silver and gold. Signed "JAPAN" on the back. In a very good vintage condition with some patina at the back.
