Absolutely astonishing Pendant. The pendant was carved at end of 1980s and the intention was to be used as a pendant it self. That's why it has a hole for a chain. Later the red cinnabar pendant was placed in a Tibetan style 925 silver frame. Very nice and excellent crafted Cinnabar pendant necklace. These ornate jewelry piece is a reminiscent of ornate Chinese lacquer-ware, it was especially popular 1,000 years ago during the Song Dynasty. This ancient art form is an intensive process requiring much artistic skill and craftsmanship.

The color is vibrant and there are no chips or cracks to the lacquer. This is a masterpiece piece of jewelry, a classic that you will wear often. In an EXCELLENT vintage condition!
