At second half of the 1950s and until early 1970s, Japan started to produce high quality porcelain for exportation under the stamp of "Jitsu-to" meaning "true Porcelain". The pieces of that period have designs that can make them look like very old Imari Arita Plates but having a detailed look to them will give you the certainty of their true date, much more modern indeed. This bowl has a hand-painted pond with a duck and unknown bird surrounded by pretty floral pattern. The rim is scalloped and in brown color. Pieces like this bowl are rare to find today. The bowl is in excellent vintage condition.
